Windows

quote:
> 05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller (rev 01)
"If your ethernet cable is connected at boot time and you are experiencing the no link problem, try this: Shutdown, power down. Unplug your host (this cuts power to the card if wake-on-lan power is maintained). Wait 15 seconds. Plug in. Boot ubuntu."
Windows by defaults disables the NIC at Windows shutdown time in order to disable Wake-On-Lan, and this NIC will remain disabled until the next time Windows turns it on."
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=538448
P.S. Системы - Windows XP SP3 и Ubuntu 9.04 c network-manager_0.7.1~rc4.1.cf199a964-0ubuntu2_amd64.
