в документации на �_Н�_ нашел такую функцию file_get_wrapper_data но она отказывается работать Fatal error: Call to undefined function: file_get_wrapper_data()... может есть другие способы прочитать хэдер сайта???

Хэдер сайта? Может хэдер файла? Вообще можно попробовать через сокет сделать HEAD запрос и получить желаемое.

Смысл такой... есть сайт на хостинге... если открывать через сокет то конектит к хосту хостера а не к тому сайту что я хочу...

file_get_wrapper_data

file_get_wrapper_data -- Retrieves header/meta data from "wrapped" file pointers
Description
mixed file_get_wrapper_data ( int fp)

This function returns header or meta data from files opened with fopen(). This is useful to return the response headers for HTTP connections, or some other statistics for other resources.

The format of the returned data is deliberately undocumented at this time, and depends on which wrapper(s) were used to open the file.

Note: This function was introduced in PHP 4.3.0.

А у меня в документациия вот такое написано:

Словом, нужен PHP 4 CVS онли.

Fasco, а почему только к хосту, на котором сайт находится? В fsockopen ведь можно указывать хост, к которому хочешь подключиться.
