Apache httpd is capable of writing error and access log files through a pipe to another process, rather than directly to a file. This capability dramatically increases the flexibility of logging, without adding code to the main server. В Win2k это могло бы работать.. во всяком случае пайпы в ней есть.. хотя конвееры в винде и на юникс платформах разные вещи, но попробовать всегда можно..
Если у тебя будет работать команда, ну например, dir | sort в консоли то будет работать и заявленная фича апача, но там говориться о dramatically increases the flexibility of logging, вот на счет этого трудно сказать.. надо пробовать..

dir | sort вроде работает, только вопрос больше в проге, в которую лог кидать... есть такие вообще или только у кульных провайдеров типа Яндекса какие-нибудь самоедльные....
